Lovely peaceful park surrounded by a Georgian square in Preston. It's beside the city centre and close to Avenham and Miller Parks. There's plenty of park benches and the whole place is beautifully maintained.

Winckley Square is a beautiful peaceful park/gardens, full of interesting history. It was beautifully designed and these days serves the community and visitors very well as a place for relaxation and recreation

A recent music festival was well run in good weather. This was for all the family with things for children while parents listened to various artists. Beer was available & only 2 minutes from town center. Friends on Winkley Square worked hard to make an enjoyable pm.
