Great experience for the kids! Free entry which is a bonus considering how much information, art and different sections there is! Really enjoyed looking around took us about an hour or two to have a good luck at everything. Wallace and gromit museum on the top floor is ace and they also have a little shop for Wallace and gromit merchandise to. Cafe on bottom floor and also caters for disabled people with a lift to all floors. Visited on a Wednesday and wasn’t too busy.

Beautiful Building in the centre of Preston, lots of interesting artifacts on show. They were in between some exhibitions when we visited but there was still plenty to see. Great cafe at the entrance for refreshments. Free to enter but a kindly request for donations. Staff, especially young man on reception very friendly and helpful.

Always been a great museum with plenty happening. The recent renovations are nice and allows the museum to keep much of its all charm with large stonework. No idea why but they never have opened the top "Egypt" floor, you can see another floor but can't access it
