• Best chippy in Preston. We've been coming to Queen Vics for years. Loving this new location. Free on-site parking for long and wide cars, friendly staff and 4 or 5 small tables for eat-in. Large chip portions will feed 3 adults with sides. We got pies, sausages, peas, haddock and cod. Just one point of note: large fish is £8. Though its not as large as the larges we have elsewhere. Still not found a better curry than Kent St Chippy. They used to do the BEST curry. This restaurant is fully halal which means sausages will not be pork, if that's what you're expecting.

• Excellent food especially since last night was the first night of service. Fish was delicious, sausage was tasty and chips were perfect. There are two curry options, went for ‘mild’ which was standard chip shop city style, might try the ‘spicy’ next time! Only bad point was the chips were served in a polystyrene container. It’s 2026 guys… please try and use compostable packaging!

• Huge portion of chips with a perfectly cooked fish, the staff are exceptionally polite and plenty of space to sit in and eat. Despite being beside the main road there are parking spaces. Very clean and professional. Will most definitely visit again.
